What we Believe

​

We are a non denominational church that believes in the Five-Fold Ministry: Apostles, Preachers, Teachers, Evangelist, and Prophets. We also believe in the operation of the 9 gifts the Spirit: Word of Wisdom, Word of Knowledge, Discerning of  Spirits, Gift of  Faith, Gift of Healing, Working of Miracles,, Prophecy, Speaking in Diverse Tongues, and Interpretation of  Tongues (1 Corinthians 12: 8-10). Operating in the Fruits of the Spirit: Love, Joy, Peace, Forbearance, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, Self-Control (Galatians 5: 22-23).

At Spirit and Life Outreach Church, we believe in the Word of God by use of the Holy Bible. We believe that we are saved by God’s only son, Jesus Christ, and that he died for our sin’s, on the cross, and most importantly, that He rose on the 3rd day so that we are forgiven of our sins, and are set free. We also believe in healing and deliverance through God’s teaching, preaching, fasting, prayer, and worship.

Lastly, we believe in marriage of man and woman, family, and community. We strive to cultivate all three through biblical teachings that support each important role in family. We believe that serving in this capacity allows to fulfill the commission of Spirit and Life Outreach Church.

The Foundation

It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. This scripture is where name of the ministry was came from! John 6:63 KJV

 

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. John 1: 1-4 KJV

 

The Vision

Our Vision is to build a multi-cultural church for God’s people to worship, be delivered, set free, and to thrive, spiritually, emotionally, and physically. No one is left behind.

“What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he loses one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness, and go after the one which is lost until he finds it? And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and neighbors, saying to them, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost!’ I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine [a]just persons who need no repentance.

Have them build a sanctuary for Me, so that I may dwell among them. You shall construct it in accordance with everything that I am going to show you, as the pattern of the tabernacle and the pattern of all its furniture. Exodus 25:8-9 AMP

The Mission

While serving people, communities, and families, we are committed to enter familiar and unfamiliar places in search of Gods people who are lost, hurting, and for those who have gone astray. We will offer, repentance, acceptance of Christ, and salvation to those in need right where they are. All souls are worthy to be saved as there is undying hope of salvation for all. Because people are not currently attending church, the Lord is using us to bring the church to them; then we bring them to the House of Prayer.

Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations [help the people to learn of Me, believe in Me, and obey My words], baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always [remaining with you perpetually—regardless of circumstance, and on every occasion], even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20 AMP

Our Standards
But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us. We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed. 2 Corinthians 4:7-9 AMP

The horse is prepared for the day of battle,
